Why am I getting a Channel 0 (Remote ID:0) error when I receive files from certain trading partners over SSH FTP?

For each SSH_FXP_OPEN command for a file, a SSH_FXP_CLOSE also needs to be issued. If you do not get a SSH_FXP_CLOSE, then you will get this error.

There are instances where the trading partner will send both an SSH_FXP_CLOSE and a quit in the same millisecond. SSH is a command response protocol, so if you receive the quit prior to the SSH_FXP_CLOSE the connection would be terminated and the error would occur.

To solve this, you should contact the trading partner to ensure they are issuing the SSH_FXP_CLOSE after transferring the last file and before severing the connection.
